主要研究方向包括:1.高能量密度储能器件的设计2、原位同步辐射谱学对镁硫/锂硫电池机理研究。3.根据机理研究结果,设计新型电极材料、电解液改善高能量密度电池性能。通过理论与实验相结合,厘清了镁硫、卤素电池容量衰减快的基本问题,并通过电极材料设计、电解液优化、引入催化剂等策略改善镁硫电池、卤素电池,为后续高能量密度电池的设计和开发奠定了基础。在国际综合和专业期刊以第一作者或通讯作者身份发表SCI论文13,其中Joule 1篇,J. Am. Chem. Soc. 1篇,Angew. Chem. Inter. Ed. 1篇,Adv. Mater. 1Adv. Energy Mater. 1篇,Adv. Funct. mater. 1篇,Nano Lett. 2篇,Energy Stor. Mater. 3篇等。
