报告人学术背景介绍：

      Prof. Evans’ research interests areprimarily focused on the exploration and development of new metal-catalyzedreactions and their application to the total synthesis of complex bioactivenatural products. He has published over 100 papers, articles, reviews andmonographs, and delivered nearly 500 plenary and invited lectures atinternational conferences, symposia, universities, research institutes andcompanies. He is extremely active in the organic research community and has wonnumerous awards both from industrial and academic, including Eli Lilly GranteeAward (1998), Novartis Pharmaceuticals Academic Achievement Award (2000),Johnson and Johnson Focused Giving Award (2001); Pfizer Creativity in OrganicChemistry Award (2002); Novartis Chemistry Lectureship (2007), NIH First Award(1997), Royal Society Wolfson Research Merit Award (2006-11).
