Abstract: Polyacrylamidesare a sort of important polymer materials for industrial applications, such asflocculants, viscosifiers for oil recovery, and subdermal fillersfor aesthetic facial surgery. Although most of the industrial polyacrylamideproducts have been undoubtedly prepared by conventional radicalpolymerizations, the precise, efficient, and green synthesis of suchpolyacrylamides is still an interesting subject from the viewpoint of polymersynthesis. Here, the presenter describes the synthesis of well-definedpolyacrylamide by organocatalyzed group transfer polymerization (GTP),including (1) GTP of acrylamide using strong Brønsted acid, (2) Moleculardesign of polyacrylamide by organocatalyzed GTP, and (3) A novel GTP method forpolyacrylamide synthesis using tris(pentafluorophenyl)borane (B(C6F5)3)as catalyst.

 

个人简历:2008~2012,日本北海道大学(Hokkaido Univ)硕士、博士学位;2012.11~2013.11,苏黎世联邦理工学院(ETH Zurich)博士后;2013.12~2015.12,北海道大学工学研究院助理教授;2016.1至今,深圳大学高等研究院研究员。曾长期兼任日本学术振兴会特别研究员,在Macromolecules、ACS Macro Lett.和Polym. Chem.等期刊发表论文40余篇,专著章节1部。近年来主要关注应用有机小分子催化剂合成无金属残留的绿色聚合物材料,以实现高分子在光电、生物、环境友好材料等领域的应用,并为聚合物材料的工业化生产提供实用的解决手段。此外,也关注温度、pH、手性等刺激响应材料的开发与应用。目前的主要研究方向为:聚合物的可控合成,聚合物结构-性能关系的解析,新型有机催化聚合方法的开发。
