Mikhail G. Brik 简介：

1995, received his PhD degree from Kuban State University (Krasnodar,Russia);

1995-2000, had been working in Kuban State University (Krasnodar, Russia);

2000-2001, had been working in Asmara University (Asmara, Eritrea);

2002, had been working in Weizmann Institute of Science (Rehovot, Israel);

2003-2007, had been working in Kyoto University (Kyoto, Japan),

Since 2007, he has been taking a Professor positionat the Institute of Physics, University of Tartu, Estonia. He is also a GuestProfessor at Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (China) andJan Dlugosz University (Poland).

2012, received his Doctor of Science (habilitation) degree from the Instituteof Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences (Warsaw, Poland).

Since 2015, he serves as one of the Editors of the “OpticalMaterials” journal (Elsevier).

His area of scientific interests covers theoretical spectroscopy oftransition metal and rare earth ions in optical materials, crystal fieldtheory, ab initio calculations of physical properties of pure and dopedfunctional compounds. He is a co-editor of two books, author of 10 bookchapters and about 310 papers in international journals. According to GoogleScholar, he has more than 3600 citations with h-index=30. In 2013 he hasreceived the State Prize of Republic of Estonia in the field of exact sciences
