In this talk, I will share withyou our recent efforts toward the realization of stable and efficient waterelectrolysis through nanostructure design. Both the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) determine the overall efficiency ofwater electrolysis. Our research focuses on understanding of the reactionmechanism in water electrolysis as well as design of efficient and stable HERand OER electrodes made of earth-abundant materials.
